Halloween trick or treating!
"Come sit down here," I said while the others were waiting for more lollies.
Zoe was the first to follow me.
"Why are you just sitting on their driveway?" Zoe asked like it was a strange thing to do.
Maxine walked up to the gate of the next house.
"Don't open the gate!" I cried out just before she turned the lock.
I looked back at us. Our group, looked so strange because we were all wearing different costumes. Aria's was my favourite.
It was getting late but the sky wasn't dark like the night yet.
Heaps of people didn't celebrate Halloween, and we had heaps of replies like this,
"Sorry kids we don't have any lollies," and sometimes like this,
"We don't celebrate Halloween!".

Emotion Poem

Emotion Poem

Success is yellow, because when you achieve something you shine.
Success sounds like children cheering when they win a game.
Success sounds like the envelope opening, and the certificate waiting to be seen.
Success smells like the creamy vanilla sensation of an ice cream, after you compete amazingly in a race.
Success smells like pink and green highlighter shining from your wonderful work.
Success tastes like the tropical flavour of pineapple, travelling to your mouth, through a smoothie, once you pay for it yourself.
Success tastes like chocolate melting in your mouth once you take a step up the red staircase.
Success feels like a warm hug, after you make a fantastic mothers day card.
Success feels like happiness once you celebrate your first medal.
Success looks like the load of points scored after my hockey teams game.
Success looks like the burning sun, watching your every successful step and movement.

Evers-Swindell Twins

12.8.16

                                    EVERS-SWINDELL TWINS

Wednesday was a very good surprise. I was on the field doing some                   measuring with some other people, as some people came and told us to             come back into class. I was wondering why we had to come inside so                 early?
So inside we walked and when I looked through the window, I saw the               Evers-Swindell twins! Even though they had their children and they were           eating crackers it was really amazing!
We asked them a few questions that they answered ( of course ) but                 then it was time for the other classes turn. Here's a photo >

This week my goal was to try and finish everything to try and get some free time. I really enjoyed doing the sign language songs Paradise here's a link on the class blog with loads of songs http://goldfields3songs.blogspot.co.nz/

I've been trying to post more things on my blog and trying to become an e-learning expert.

I also really enjoyed working with different people and getting to make new friends.

Please keep on looking at my blog :)

Thank you :)

Build Your Wild Self

Hello! Here is my wild self! In class our Inquiry is animal adaptations and how they use them to survive in their habitat. You should go create your own wild self if you haven't already and see what crazy things you can put together on yourself. Here's the link http://www.buildyourwildself.com/ and here's a few reasons why I put these adaptation's on.

Lion's mane: Lions are the king of the jungle and they show their mane to other animals to show them to back away.
Penguins body: Penguins live in the South Pole and its very cold so the males huddle together to keep warm. And also because they have webbed feet to help them swim fast.

Harvest Gala Day

12.4.16

I heard my feet stepping across the concrete as I was walking towards the school. I could see some tables set out and also a few teachers, plus a couple of parents and children waiting to get in.

As soon as Mum and I got our paper I ran to put the sweets on the stall.

After that I found Kaylee and she was panicing because our little cute scarecrow Polly wasn't on the fence!

I peered through the window of the classroom and found Polly standing in there! "Kaylee she is in there ask a teacher to put her on the fence" I shouted. I left her to do that and walked over to my favourite animals......DOGS!

They were all so cute but my favourite was probably Bazil (Christy's dog).
